Today was an amazing day for students participating in the MYEP Training. Students learned a lot about Career Readiness. If you missed today's training you missed out on a good one, HOWEVER, students over 16 can still join MYEP by attending a Community Training date. Here is what you expect next:

Now that you have completed the MYEP Career Readiness Training you are ready to start the application and interview process and then you are well on your way to your Job or Internship. For your convenience, I have created an MYEP Google Folder. This folder includes the following files:

How To Complete Your Interview and Application:

By now you should have received an email that walks you through the application process. This email will come to the email that you placed in the survey that you took this morning. (Please check back here for updates)


Sample Interview Questions

1. What types of careers interest you and what is it about those careers that get you excited?

2. If accepted to the MYEP, what would be your goals for this experience?

3. How do you define success?

4. If your supervisor asked you to do something you disagreed with, what would you do?

5. Describe your personality.

6. Would you try to resolve a conflict privately with a co-worker or would you involve a manager/supervisor?

7. What do you think causes failure?

8. How would you describe the perfect job for you?

9. What are your goals for the next five years?

10. What other information would you like us to know about you that has not already been shared during this interview.?



The response for MYEP has been amazing. Currently, we have 65 student participants and I am really looking forward to watching all of you participate in the upcoming MYEP training. I am even more excited about the possibility of having a large amount of Summer Internship. This opportunity has the potential to be an amazing journey for participating iMeck students and will prove to be a great resume builder.


Here are a few things that you will need to know for this training:

  • Date: Tuesday, October 22, 2019

  • Time: 7:15 am - 2:15 pm

  • Location: Media Center

  • Attire: The attire is Comfortable Business Casual. Please see the videos below to get a better idea of what that means

  • Resume: Bring your resume (not required but suggested)

  • Have Fun: These trainings are a laidback environment. There will be plenty of learning but plenty of fun as well.
