TEACHER SPOTLIGHT
Teaching at iMeck is truly PERSONAL for Ms. Linton and we are so fortunate to have her call iMeck home.
This week, we would like to highlight Ms. LaFlavia Linton, iMeck's Graphic Digital Design Teacher for CTE. Ms. Linton joined the iMeck team in Fall 2019, leading the iMeck's largest pathway. Since starting at iMeck Ms. Linton has proven herself to be passionate about her curriculum. Her passion is radiant and has recently paid off in the close of the 2019-2020 school when she certified over 70% of her students as Adobe Professionals.
In addition to her success with certifying students, Ms. Linton spent the summer leading other teachers in the district, building Canvas courses for both the Adobe Visual and Accounting curriculum.
This year Ms. Linton has taken on the task of certifying 96 students and leading The CCA News Crew. We are so excited to see what Ms. Linton has in store.

Driver's Ed

Students can sign up for Drivers Education beginning Monday, August 31, 2020 via Jordan Driving School.
Jordan Driving School, Charlotte teaches Driver Education safety to students who are at least 14 ½ years old, and who are actively enrolled in a public, private, charter, or licensed home school within Mecklenburg County. Students who attend school outside Mecklenburg County are ineligible to take Driver Education through Jordan Driving School Charlotte and will need to contact the closest public school to the school they attend to inquire about the Driver Education program for that county. Residency in Mecklenburg County does not determine Driver Education eligibility; where the student attends school is the determining factor. Jordan Driving School, Charlotte does not teach private lessons or adult students.
Beginning in August all classes are virtual. If you are interested in taking Drivers Ed you can register online. Payment for your classes can be collected at registration or at...
