WE ARE STILL REMOTE!

On Thursday, January 14th, the CMS Board of Education, with guidance from the Mecklenburg County Health Department, decided it was not safe to return to in-person learning on January 19th as originally planned. The Board left all students in remote learning status through February 12th, at which time, the community metrics will be re-evaluated. As of now, CCA middle school and iMECK Academy students could potentially return to in-person learning on February 22nd. There will be another School Board meeting on February 9th to determine if this start date is indeed safe for students to return to campus. while this is not ideal, this has become our way of life. For much of the 3rd quarter, learning will still be taking place in a virtual environment. Students are encouraged to log in daily, communicate with teachers and submit assignments in a timely fashion. Together, we can continue to find the academic success that is a part of our tradition at iMECK!
